UF plants, or Ultra Filtration plants, are a distinctive segment of water filtration, aptly indicated by their "ultra" designation. These ultra-filtration systems provide optimal removal of various microorganisms commonly present in water, ensuring its safety and purity for consumption.
Nearly all bottled drinking water undergoes this Ultra Filtration process prior to packaging, serving as an additional check on the product's purity and reliability. This filtration primarily utilizes Ultrafiltration Membranes, which operate at very low pressure and effectively eliminate turbidity-causing agents, including colloidal substances, various bacteria, viruses, pathogens, proteins, and suspended solids.
